For this five-star superior hotel, Planit fabricated and installed vanity tops in Corian® Verdant and Glacier White. The thermoformed vanity tops with their distinctive integrated oval washbasins were custom designed by the interior designer Cathrin Hoch.
The Chasa Montana Hotel is located in the centre of the village of Samnaun in Engiadina, 1,850 meters above sea level, in the Silvretta-Arena Ischgl skiing, hiking and cycling resort, one of the most beautiful and popular tourist destinations in Switzerland. The fascination of the mountains and exclusivity of this hotel interact with the warm and familiar atmosphere of the furnishings in the suites and common areas. Exposed timber and granite were selected for the hotel rooms. Cathrin Hoch’s designs for the bathrooms are part of this play of contrasts, custom designed to meet the needs of guests. Planit was asked to create and install the vanity tops with integrated oval washbasins in Corian® Verdant and Glacier White, in harmony with their surroundings. The technique of temperature controlled thermoforming allows for a perfectly integrated vanity top, with imperceptible joints that produces an elegant effect of continuity.
