The Nadalini Dental Clinic is a long-standing professional activity, operating in Trento for over sixty years ago. In the clinic’s seven visiting rooms existing laminate worktops were substituted with new 12 mm tops in Corian® Glacier White, complete with a Sweet 809 sink. The technical and hygienic characteristics of Corian® made it possible to invisibly weld together the worktop, sink and splashes. The splash also features a cove moulding to make for easy cleaning. The same intervention was carried out in the operating room, where the walls were also clad in Corian® Glacier White to ensure the highest possible levels of hygiene in such a delicate environment. The work required a detailed survey of existing dimensions, openings and stainless steel elements that needed to remain; the walls were designed and produced to be finished in modular elements, fit together and honed to render the joints invisible. Similarly, in the reception area the walls were clad in Corian®, in the warmer version of Cameo White. The flush insertion of a panel in Corian® Dove with a logo attracts attention to the clinic’s name, though with discretion: the N, realised in Corian® Glacier Ice and backlit with LEDs, is the only letter that glows.
